Ok. The crush for this week is Jared Leto. I will not apologize for loving 30 Seconds to Mars' new album, especially the songs "Hurricane" and "Stranger in a Strange Land". Loved him since "My So Called Life" in 1994, and still do, even with all the black eyeliner. But he is a really good actor too. Seriously, check out Requiem for a Dream, Chapter 27, etc.

Dweezil pt.2

Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. I forgot to tell you all that I met Dweezil Monday night after the show. It was an awesome show anyway, and then...I met Dweezil. ****GRINS****
He was so excited to meet anyone that came up and wanted to know how they got into his dad's music, what brought them to the show, etc. Cool guy. My crush from the 80's is validated.
Now I am off to IKEA to get some new kitchen lighting.

Dweezil

Can't wait to see my guitar hero of the 80's Dweezil Zappa. Monday night he is doing his "Zappa plays Zappa" tour here in Atlanta, playing his father's (the late Frank Zappa) music. Should be an awesome show.

Let's see what's going on...
I'm excited because I get to see Dweezil Zappa on January 11th.
Then on the 31st...WWE Royal Rumble. I know, but I've never seen live wrestling, so I figured I'd try it.

My friends and I came up with the idea to make a list of things you have never done before, and try to do as many before your next birthday. You have to have as many things on your list as your age on your next birthday. So, if you are going to be 28 next July, you would have to have 28 things on your list.

I have mine completed, but not sure if I want to post it here. We are also allowed to put up to 3 ****'s. These are things that are private - so no one can see what they are.

SOOOOOO...What's up for New Year's Eve? I'm going to a murder mystery party (also on my list). Should be interesting. I have a part to play - hope I'm not the murderer!

World Tour 2009-2010

I did't go to Mexico this summer like I have for the past few years. Instead, I did a bunch of other fun stuff. However, the travel bug is biting big time. I'm heading to New Orleans at the end of October (the intent is a road trip with friends for the Falcons vs Saints football game), but we will be there for Halloween, so that should be cool. I know that vampire is all played out this year, but that is my costume choice. Subtle vampire. Like an Alice Cullen sort (twilight reference - which I just recently watched, and it was pretty good - actually looking forward to the new one, but the special effects look horrid).
Next on the tour is London in the Spring. It will be my fourth time, but I love going there. One day I will own a vacation flat there.
Then the plan is Amsterdam with friends in June.
Finally, Munich for the 200th birthday of Oktoberfest. yay! beer!

Neglect

I've been neglecting the blog. I dont even remember what I discussed last time. The air going out? Let's see...since then...
I went to a soccer game (Club America vs AC Milan) with my friend Reggie.
I had an awesome weekend with friends in a cabin a few weeks ago.
I went to see Kid Cudi in concert with my friend Kimberly.
I went to see Mos Def in concert with my friend John.
I want to go see Chevelle on 9/26 and The Psychedelic Furs on 10/2 but I dont know anyone that will see either of those with me. The other half of my household will be gone for one, and doesnt like the other. But the Furs were my first real concert back in 1986. Yes, that long ago. The summer between 8th and 9th grade. I remember that a couple at the show had just gotten married...they both had pink spiked hair. Awesome.
So Labor Day weekend is coming up. I'm going to chill at the house with just the dog. Relaxing. Saturday I will go to a friend's house for a seafood party-type-thing, even tho I dont eat seafood (except for fish). But I'm going to spend time with friends. One of my favorite things in life, just being around good friends.
So I met this lady that just started blogging. She's at home all day with no one to talk to, so she watches crime shows all day (like real court proceedings, not Judge Judy). She has alot to talk about - she's gets really riled up about the verdicts and stuff.
I dont feel like I have that much to say about anything. I have acute apathy.
